Paramount to "Steel" from Disney

In an apparent attempt to compete with Disney's planned "Iron Man" sequel, Paramount has announced their newest tentpole, "Steel Man."

Paramount prexy John Hamberg noted, "'Steel Man' is our attempt to answer the question audiences have been asking for years: 'What if there were a superhero made of steel? We'd like to explore this question in a five-part series of films.'" Plot details are being kept underwraps, but "Steel Man" is expected to be a more refined pic than "Iron Man," with a higher carbon count.
