Gibson gets a new "Sheen"

Fresh off his latest hit, Charlie Sheen is set to star in a new ABC Family laffer. Mel Gibson is reportedly attached alongside Sheen, marking Gibson’s first foray into network television.

Story follows a hip bachelor (Sheen) who, tired of a career filled with debauchery and drug use, has decided to return to school to become a rabbi. His roommate (Gibson) is also a returning student, hoping to pursue a double major in both rabbinnical and women’s studies.

Series, tentatively titled “Jew For the Money, Jew For the Show,” is set to lense in July, provided Sheen’s former hit, “Two And A Half Men” remains stalled in production.
